It has been financed in part with the federal funds from the National Park Service, U.S. Department of the Interior, and administered by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, Historic Preservation Office. The building is individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is owned by the Borough of Closter. The Borough issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) to solicit firms to complete the Plan from which LTRW was selected.
