"My dear friends, I all invite In this book some lines to write. And should you happen to lack room You will still be remembered by David Bloom"
This is the first entry in a little album that belonged to my grandfather, Dave Bloom. He started using it as an autograph book in 1907, at age 14. Evidently, he kept it for many years, as the last entries are from 1921.
The early pages seem to be simple signatures, most likely of friends from his high school class. Later in the volume, there are longer entries by various relatives.
