      Regina was the elder daughter of Bernard and Sophie Rothschild. After the introduction of her mother in one
      ne Jewish mental hospital (see above), they were taken in October 1941, together with its
      little sister Miriam, to Hamburg in the Jewish orphanage for girls (Pauline pin) at maturity
      37. dig end November 1941 this home was closed and the girl with their supervisors

      On 11th July 1942, a deportation train left with 300 Jews, including 14 remaining children of Waisenhau- ses and their carers, the "Hannoversche Bahnhof" in Hamburg with the aim of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

      Regina was not yet 14 years old when she was murdered in the gas chambers at Auschwitz. [1]
